Welcome to our new physician assistant Laura!

Ms. Laura Lima De Almeida is a highly skilled and compassionate Physician Assistant who earned her degree from the University of Tampa. She is fully bilingual, with native-level fluency in both English and Portuguese, and also has limited working proficiency in Spanish.

• She holds a Bachelor of Science in Human Biology from the University of South Florida and a Master’s degree in Biomedical Sciences from Nova Southeastern University, reflecting her strong academic foundation in healthcare and science.

• Originally from São Paulo, Brazil, Ms. Lima De Almeida deeply values her family and travels back home several times a year to visit them. Family plays a central role in her life, and she brings that same sense of care and connection into her work with patients. Outside of the clinic, she is known for having a sweet tooth—especially for warm, freshly baked treats, which makes the bakery behind the office a favorite stop.

• She is certified in Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Basic Life Support (BLS), and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), ensuring high standards of patient care across all age groups.
